GMP Tying Up Loose Ends On NASCAR K&N Pro Series Weekend

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

JEFFERSON, GA (September 1, 2010) – We’re tying up some of the loose ends around Gresham Motorsports Park this week as we close out last weekend’s NASCAR K&N Pro Series East event.

For your convenience, we’ve posted the official NASCAR results of the American Fence Association 150 Presented By Mayfield Ice Creamier – and the GMP local division final results – in the 2010 Event Results section of www.GreshamMotorsportsPark.com

Everything you ever wanted to know statistically about Saturday’s thrilling NASCAR K&N race is posted there.

It was a great night of fun as top NASCAR K&N Pro Series East drivers Darrell Wallace, Jr., Matt Kobyluck, Max Gresham, Eddie MacDonald, Miguel Paludo, Brett Moffitt, Ryan Gifford, Sergio Pena’, Mike Cherry, Ty Dillon, Zach Germain, Ryan Truex and Brandon Haley competed against a fans in a number of Funopolis activities including go kart racing, team laser tag, bumper cars and arcade games.

The Funopolis NASCAR Night also served as a charity benefit for the Banks and Jackson County Food Banks with fans donating non-perishable food items to the cause.

And don’t forget to mark your calendar so you don’t miss the next GMP event - the First-Annual George Elliott Memorial 100 Presented By Monolith Companies. The Saturday, September 18 race is named for the father of NASCAR legends Bill, Ernie and Dan Elliott.

Headlining the evening’s events will be the George Elliott Memorial 100 Super Late Model race. The program will also feature racing in the GMP Truck, Mini Stock Outlaw Late Model, Renegade Street Stock and Mini Cup divisions.

Adult Grandstand and Trackside General Admission Tickets are just $20 for this special event. Seniors (55 and older) and Active Military Personnel are $18 while Children 6-12 are $10. Children 5 and under will be admitted free and, as always, parking is free.
